In robotics, I must build the robot, code it, and troubleshoot any issues that occur. If I am trying to push a button but the current robot cannot do it, I will alter the robot’s arm, change the code, and keep changing things until it works. Both this process and the fact that I can work with my friends are why I love robotics. And if you like what you are doing to begin with, a strong team will only cause you to enjoy it more.
I recruited two of my new friends at St. Bernard's last year and founded a new team, ' The Chargers'. We were able to advance to the Semi-finals at the First Lego League with a Silver Ticket. The new official Robotics team at St. Bernard's School, 'Cave Canem', won second place in the Robot Game and First Place Champions Award in the First Lego League Challenges qualifiers at the end of January 2026. 'Cave Canem' will advance straight to the finals with a 'Golden Ticket'!
